Job Summary

Senior Manager lead on managing a portfolio of clients in a Sydney-based accounting practice; responsibilities include reviewing complex compliance work across income tax, FBT, BAS, GST and SMSF; acting as primary point of contact for client portfolios; leading technical work in tax planning, Division 7A, FBT strategies and structuring across family groups with companies and trusts; researching complex tax issues and providing clear recommendations; scoping and delegating work, coaching the team, managing WIP and billings, participating in strategic projects and business development; strong client relationship skills, exceptional communication, leadership and adoption of technology tools (Xero, Office 365, Karbon, AI).

Required Qualifications

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in Australian public practice
  • Solid experience with family businesses and high net worth groups
