Job Summary
Senior Manager, Business Partnerships responsible for overseeing NPR Member organizations within an assigned portfolio, driving account development, and accelerating adoption of NPR digital products and programming. Key duties include managing station partner relationships, generating leads for placement of NPR programs and services, developing marketing messages for partners, achieving program and digital services revenue goals, and facilitating cross-department collaboration. The role requires negotiating fees and legal agreements, maintaining partner data and dashboards, coordinating with Content and other NPR divisions, and representing NPR at industry conferences and meetings. Strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making with familiarity in Salesforce and an ability to synthesize financial data are essential. The position is remote-permitted with an on-site option in NPR’s Washington, DC office, and travel to other locations may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience
- 7+ years of proven experience managing complex partner accounts, client portfolios, or B2B business relationships
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM for data and dashboards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and manage legal/commercial agreements
- Knowledge of broadcast/media landscape and public radio ecosystem
