Job Summary
Transform data into actionable insights by processing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity to improve operations performance. Lead and manage a team of BI report developers and analysts while guiding mentorship and providing expert-level assistance. Design, architect, and develop custom low-code and no-code analytics solutions, including participation in architecture design discussions. Establish governance guidelines, a Community of Excellence, and integration protocols within the ODP platform. Manage stakeholder expectations through meaningful communication of complex analytical models and influence action. Deliver detailed development estimates, oversee budgets, and lead medium to large workstreams involving cross-functional and multi-vendor teams. Work with minimal oversight, delivering periodic reviews and adhering to SLC and IT audit policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served plus 8 years' experience
- Master's Degree plus 7 years' experience
- PhD plus 3 years' experience
- Demonstrate proficiency across a range of technologies related to the integration, visualization, and analysis of large and complex data sets
- Deep understanding of web services software architecture and design, including security-based implementations
- Proven track record in leading medium to large workstreams, involving business and technical teams
- Experience with managing teams consisting of onshore/offshore/near shore resources, in a multi-vendor environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion
- Experience with Service Operations in a multi-sourced and multi-project environment
- Experience in managing DevOps team using AbbVie approved CI/CD tools
- Experience in Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Qlik and Spotfire
- Experience in Snowflake and ability to write/analyze SQL queries
- Experience with data catalog, ingestion, streaming, pipeline, orchestration tools such as informatica, Autosys and Alation
- Industry experience in master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling
- Experience in data quality tools, including data profiling, cleansing, and identity resolution
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Dataiku and Tableau
- Experience with Life Sciences Pharmaceutical Commercial and Sales Operations group, including insights into Sales
