Job Summary
Drive business development initiatives for Land Electronics, focusing on market analysis, customer engagement, and pipeline management. Responsibilities include strategic and tactical direction for new business initiatives, overseeing market assessments, and supporting capture activities such as proposals and marketing materials. Requires strong communication skills and the ability to develop partnerships, with 10+ years of experience preferred. Knowledge of C5ISR products and military architecture standards, combined with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development Operations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Strong planning, organization, project management, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively on complex problems with sound judgment
- Knowledge of company products, markets, and technology
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Experience with BD capture processes; Shipley method preferred
- Ability to travel 50% or more at times
