Senior Manager, Business Development to drive growth for GLG’s Financial Services book in Australia by deepening client relationships, negotiating annual subscriptions, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver customized solutions. The role emphasizes driving revenue growth, client strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, legal, service, research, finance, and technology to achieve account objectives. Strong emphasis on relationship-building with PE professionals and senior executives, with a track record in B2B subscription-based revenue and a BA-level or higher credential. The position requires building account plans, negotiating renewals, and representing GLG’s value proposition to decision-makers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in account management or consultative B2B sales within the Australian market
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
- Strong consultative sales approach with experience managing and growing subscription-based client relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Preferred: experience engaging and building relationships with senior executives within the financial services industry
