Job Summary

Lead planning, managing, and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities across the facility, ensuring designs are incorporated into overall coordinated projects and executed per drawings and specifications. Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of MEP systems while managing contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities to meet quality standards, cost controls, and schedule targets. Provide strategic inputs to Planning, Contracts, and Design Teams on MEP matters, assist with vendor selection, and manage risk identification with the project manager. Handle handovers, ensure receipt of manuals and test certificates, and coordinate inspections with Fire Department, CEIG, and Pollution Control Board.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in planning, managing, coordinating, and overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across the facility/project
  • Knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance
  • Understanding of applicable statutory requirements, technical standards, and organizational policies
  • Ability to lead MEP operations, maintenance, projects, and contractors
  • Capability to ensure optimum system performance, reliability, energy efficiency, cost control, and timely completion of MEP-related works
  • Experience coordinating with internal departments, consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities
  • Ability to provide strategic inputs to the Planning, Contracts and Design Teams on all MEP related matters
  • Experience in execution of services work as per drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of specifications and conditions of every MEP package
  • Experience in vendor and local material supply vendor selection in line with agreed procurement process
  • Experience in scheduling and tracking all items related to MEP works
  • Ability to identify and manage risks
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of all service equipment
  • Ability to manage handovers and ensure receipt of relevant documents like manuals, test certificates, as built drawings, and warranties
  • Experience managing inspections of Statutory Authorities such as Fire Department, CEIG, Pollution Control Board, etc.
