Job Summary
Lead and grow a high-performing software engineering team within Oracle Health & AI, managing engineers who design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and operate software programs across applications, services, platforms, tools, and cloud infrastructure. Own planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering initiatives while partnering with product, architecture, security, operations, and clinical stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable healthcare solutions. Drive technical excellence in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and observability, building processes for roadmap planning, sprint execution, and production support. Mentor engineers to support career growth and communicate status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading engineering teams
- 5+ years of people management experience, preferably managing managers or senior technical leads
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud services, SaaS platforms, healthcare applications, data platforms, AI-enabled products, or distributed systems
- Strong technical foundation in modern software architecture, APIs, microservices, databases, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and production operations
- Experience with Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST/gRPC services, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud native engineering practices
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or comparable public cloud platforms
- Strong judgment in balancing delivery speed, operational reliability, security, and long-term maintainability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
