Job Summary
Develop and execute a comprehensive APAC benefits strategy aligned with global philosophy and business objectives, ensuring appropriate balance between global consistency and local market needs. Lead the design, evaluation, and optimization of health, welfare, retirement, savings, and wellbeing programs across India, Philippines, Australia, and China. Manage relationships with regional brokers, consultants, and carriers, conducting performance reviews, leading RFPs, and negotiating renewals. Partner with Finance and Global Benefits leadership to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while analyzing spend and utilization trends. Ensure benefits programs comply with applicable local laws and regulations, partnering with Legal and external advisors to mitigate risks. Serve as a trusted advisor to regional HR leaders and senior stakeholders, delivering executive presentations and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in team member benefits, compensation and benefits, HR, or a related discipline
- significant APAC regional experience
- Demonstrated experience managing benefits programs across multiple APAC countries and diverse regulatory environments
- Strong knowledge of regional health, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and other team member benefits programs
- Experience with benefits strategy, program design, vendor management, financial analysis, and compliance
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a global, matrixed, and/or multinational organization
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong attention to operational execution and detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting global benefits harmonization, M&A, or organizational integration
- Experience working with global benefits consultants and multinational pooling arrangements
- Experience leading regional RFPs, vendor negotiations, and benefits renewals
- Experience with benefits technology, team member engagement platforms, and data analytics
- Professional benefits certification or designation
