Job Summary
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts by conducting regular 1:1s, defining career paths, and coaching on business acumen and data storytelling. Own the team's delivery pipeline through sprint planning and intake processes to protect focus on high-ROI projects. Act as the point of contact for Director-level stakeholders in Commercial, Product, and Engineering to negotiate roadmaps and manage expectations. Translate division strategy into actionable quarterly goals, ensuring every dashboard ties directly to maximizing ad revenue or improving vendor ROI. Review team work to optimize SQL queries, ensure intuitive dashboards, and validate presentations answer the "So what?" before reaching senior leadership. Collaborate with Staff Data Analysts to operationalize advanced machine learning models like churn prediction into daily workflows. This role requires 8+ years in Data Analytics and 2+ years leading analysts. Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Data Science
- preferably within Monetization, AdTech, or a Marketplace environment
- 2+ years of experience mentoring, leading, or managing analysts
- Expert in SQL
- Expert in BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Solid understanding of Python
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts
- Comfortable with Google Cloud Platform or similar
- Exceptional prioritization skills
- Strong commercial fluency
- understanding of how digital ad auctions operate (CPM/CPC)
- understanding of how to measure the profitability of an initiative in a complex multi-national matrix organization
