Senior Manager, Alternative Investment Analyst

Job Summary
Analyze and assess alternative investment collateral, including private equity, private credit, real estate, structured notes, and closely-held stock. Review offering documents to evaluate asset structure, liquidity, leverage, and valuation methodology. Provide written credit analysis on collateral and support underwriting of high-net-worth borrowers by assessing borrower liquidity, net worth, and repayment capacity. Assist in determining appropriate advance rates and risk mitigants based on asset volatility and borrower strength. Support post-origination monitoring through periodic valuation reviews, sponsor or structure changes, and concentration tracking. This role operates M-F during standard business hours with a hybrid work model (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) and requires candidates to reside or relocate to listed areas without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Alternative investment analysis (PE, private credit, real assets, hedge funds)
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Credit underwriting or risk management
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Wealth management, private banking, or HNW lending
- Hands-on experience reviewing alternative investment structures and documentation
- Familiarity with lending to high-net-worth borrowers and assessing borrower financial strength
- Strong understanding of: Alternative asset liquidity, valuation, and risk characteristics
- Strong understanding of: Credit fundamentals and underwriting principles
- Ability to synthesize complex legal and financial documents into clear risk assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for credit memos and stakeholder discussions
- Detail-oriented with sound judgment in evaluating non-standard risks
- Exposure to collateralized lending or asset-backed credit
- Must reside or be willing to relocate on their own to one of the listed areas
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship
- This position is M-F during standard business hours
- Hybrid work model (4 days in-office, 1 day working from home)

- CFA designation or progress toward CFA
- MBA or related advanced degree
- CAIA designation
