Job Summary
Lead and scale Advanced Technology across four core teams, owning the end-to-end pipeline from sourcing through NPI readiness. Enforce a structured execution model to deliver validated technologies with defined performance metrics, risks, and IP positions. Direct global technology scouting and partnerships to identify, mature, and scale key technologies while coordinating with technical, business, and legal stakeholders. Drive alignment with Global Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing on priorities and resource allocation. Manage team performance, resource allocation, and budget to deliver results and build scalable organizational capability. Represent BAC externally in technical and customer-facing settings to support growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- ~15+ years of applicable progressively complex engineering experience in high-performing R&D and/or New Product Development organizations
- at least 5 years in a directly relevant leadership role
- Proven experience leading technical teams and complex programs from concept to productization-ready outcomes
- Proven experience in technology sourcing, external partnerships, and IP management and execution
- Proven track record of building advanced engineering organizations, playbooks, and scalable processes and capabilities
- Proven experience operating in global, cross-functional engineering environments, including exposure to manufacturing and commercialization interfaces
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to manage technical uncertainty and risk
- Proactive and diligent in holding direct reports accountable to their commitments, and providing prompt, practical constructive feedback
- Ability to assess technology value, make investment trade-offs, and align decisions with business priorities
- Ability to drive alignment and decision-making across broad, diverse groups of global internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to develop technical talent, build leadership capability, and scale high-performing teams over time

- Familiarity with thermal-fluid systems engineering or related fields (e.g., heat transfer, fluid flow, coupled heat and mass transfer), and industrial cooling or mission-critical applications (e.g. data centers)
- Familiarity with advanced digital engineering tools and approaches (e.g. simulation, digital twins, data-driven development) to support accelerated, risk-reducing technology validation and decision-making
