Senior Manager, Advanced Manufacturing

Senior Manager, Advanced Manufacturing at GE Appliances leads a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) engineers to support advanced engineering for the Clothes Care business in AP1, specifically supporting the dryer production line at Appliance Park in Louisville, KY. The role involves developing, managing and executing capital equipment and high-volume manufacturing process projects to meet budget and launch schedules, providing technical leadership, and coordinating with product development, factory operations and engineering teams to ensure alignment with Hoshin objectives. Responsibilities include tooling/equipment procurement, control systems coordination, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), sign-off of process plans and equipment designs, compliance with ANSI/ISO/EHS standards, cross-functional risk management, mentoring AME team members, and collaboration with Lean and TPM initiatives. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in a related engineering discipline and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment/automation design, installation, and process improvement, plus manufacturing project leadership experience managing engineering teams and program risk.
