Job Summary
Manage a team of three while overseeing the ACS-wide CME and CE Compliance program, establishing consistent accreditation practices and providing direction to divisions. Process, review, and audit applications for ACS and Joint Providers to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with evolving national standards. Lead reaccreditation preparation, including self-study documentation and outcomes reporting, while maintaining oversight of activity setup, closure, and record retention. Serve as a subject matter expert for technical platforms like Aptify and Ethos, ensuring data integrity, system configuration, and workflow optimization. Analyze aggregate educational data to drive continuous improvement and support strategic planning for revenue growth and portfolio expansion. This exempt position reports to the Assistant Director, is based in the Chicago office with a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote, and carries a salary range of $118,000 – $135,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Master's degree
- At least 4 -7+ years of progressive experience in health professions education and accreditation
- Deep expertise in accreditation standards
- At least 2+ years of experience with ACCME PARS reporting
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education
- Significant experience in educational program development
- Experience leading or actively participating in an organizational re-accreditation process
- Experience with staff supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CME/CE data analysis, outcomes measurement, and accreditation reporting
- Experience evaluating or supporting the use of AI tools in accredited continuing education environments
- Experience using Aptify for data management, reporting, workflow tracking, and operational support
- Familiarity with Ethos or similar learning management and credentialing platforms
- Knowledge of state regulatory mandates, physician licensure requirements, and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit programs
