Job Summary
Senior Manager, Accounting position overseeing accounting operations including cost allocations, fixed assets, cash, prepaid expenses, and other assets/liabilities; manage US GAAP compliance, journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosure schedules for financial filings; lead monthly/quarterly close and international entity close processes; collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to implement key controls ahead of Verkada’s transition to a public company; drive process optimization and automation using technology solutions; require CPA (or equivalent) and a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, with 8+ years in accounting/audit, Big 4 experience preferred, SOX environment exposure, and NetSuite/Excel proficiency; must be onsite at Verkada San Mateo HQ five days a week.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in accounting and/or audit
- Big 4 audit firm experience preferred
- SOX environment
- CPA (or equivalent) required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field of study
- Experience with high-growth SaaS software
- NetSuite ERP experience is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to be onsite in our San Mateo HQ office 5 days a week
