Job Summary
Senior Manager, Accounting is a 6-month contract (FTC) with a hybrid work arrangement tied to our Rolle, Switzerland HQ. The role focuses on leading the Q4 close, year-end reporting, and the external audit process, acting as day-to-day liaison with external auditors, and contributing to SOX-related controls in a regulated environment. The candidate should bring experience from multinational and listed/public-company settings, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams during a critical reporting cycle. Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of relevant progressive experience in accounting, external audit, financial reporting, or close management
- experience in a multinational environment
- experience in a listed or public-company environment or prior audit experience supporting listed companies
- strong understanding of year-end close and external audit processes
- knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP; deep specialization in one with ability to operate in a global reporting context
- previous experience working directly with external auditors and coordinating audit deliverables
- exposure to SOX compliance or controls testing is advantageous, particularly in connection with external audit requirements
- ability to step into an established team, provide review support, and keep multiple workstreams progressing during a time-sensitive period
