Senior Manager, 3PL Client Success

Job Summary

Act as the primary Trade & Distribution liaison to prescription 3PL partners, ensuring customer requirements are understood and consistently met through daily system monitoring, reporting, and close communication to maintain high-level performance. Manage contractual relationships with warehouse partners, including cost negotiations, volume commitments, and monthly cost follow-ups to stakeholders. Lead business review meetings to align service expectations with SLAs, identify gaps, and propose continuous improvement initiatives that reduce operational costs while improving service levels and capacity. Drive process optimization for complex specialty pharmacy needs, including labeling, picking, lot number control, and DSCSA compliance, ensuring inventory accuracy and seamless order fulfillment. Present business cases for system enhancements to leadership with documented benefits and risks. This role serves as the operational lead within the Trade & Distribution team, bridging logistics, customer experience, and specialty pharmacy operations to ensure uninterrupted distribution across the network.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics, distribution, trade operations, supply chain, or 3PL account management
  • Experience supporting or managing 3PL operations in a specialty or limited distribution product environment
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution, specialty pharmacy operations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DSCSA, GDP)
  • Demonstrated success managing vendor performance or serving as primary operational liaison with external partners
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Ability to perform standard office activities, including extended periods of computer use, participation in virtual and in-person meetings, and collaboration across teams
  • Depending on business needs, occasional travel may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • APICS/ASCM Certification in Supply Chain Management or a related professional designation is highly desirable
  • Preferred familiarity with cold-chain logistics, specialty networks, or high-touch distribution models
