Job Summary
Act as the primary Trade & Distribution liaison to prescription 3PL partners, ensuring customer requirements are understood and met through daily system monitoring, reporting, and close communication to maintain high-level performance and satisfaction. Identify potential service disruptions, triage escalations as appropriate, and lead monthly business review meetings to align service expectations with SLAs while identifying gaps for improvement. Manage contractual relationships with warehouse partners, including cost negotiations and volume commitments, while projecting capacity utilization and presenting business cases for process enhancements to leadership. Drive continuous improvement by designing new processes that satisfy complex specialty pharmacy requirements such as labeling, picking, and lot number control, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with DSCSA and GDP regulations. Maintain oversight of returned goods processing, order accuracy, and product tracking while bridging logistics, customer experience, and specialty pharmacy operations to ensure seamless fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics, distribution, trade operations, supply chain, or 3PL account management
- Experience supporting or managing 3PL operations in a specialty or limited distribution product environment
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution, specialty pharmacy operations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DSCSA, GDP)
- Demonstrated success managing vendor performance or serving as primary operational liaison with external partners
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
- APICS/ASCM Certification in Supply Chain Management or a related professional designation is highly desirable
