Job Summary
Senior Manager leading multiple high-performing software engineering teams across frontend, backend, and full-stack; responsible for technical strategy, architecture, end-to-end SDLC, DevOps/Agile practices, code quality, security, and collaboration with product/design/infrastructure/vendors; focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable systems, mentorship, and fostering an inclusive, globally distributed engineering culture. Proactively identifies risks and drives preventative measures; collaborates with executive leadership and oversees UI, batch automation guidance, and integration with upstream/downstream systems; hybrid role with in-office days.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Master’s, MBA) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong hands-on technical expertise with Java/J2EE, Oracle, MongoDB, SQL, Linux, JavaScript, and web technologies (HTTP/S, Spring, XML, JSON, REST, AngularJS)
- Extensive experience in large-scale system/software design, architecture, and development
- Proven leadership in building, mentoring, and managing high-performing, diverse engineering teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), Git, automated build/deployment, and test automation frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Playwright)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools (JIRA, TFS)
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, compliance, and security standards
- Experience with GenAI tools to increase productivity
- Ability to lead architectural design and code review discussions and provide technical guidance
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with global stakeholders
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with emerging technologies
