Job Summary
Partner with Media, Marketing, and Technology leaders to support informed commercial decisions and challenge assumptions on return on spend. Own monthly reporting for the portfolio's operating costs, including clear explanations of performance against budget and forecast, while leading annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes. Manage month-end accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations, and oversee the end-to-end purchase order process to provide visibility of committed spend. Design and maintain the cost centre and account structure, strengthen approvals and delegations, and support ERP implementation including cost centre hierarchy, approval workflows, testing, and training. Build reporting that connects spend with commercial outcomes to identify savings opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- CA or CPA qualified, or well progressed
- experience in management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance
- Experience owning an operating cost base and partnering with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working with Media, Marketing or Technology spend
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and cost centre reporting experience in a multi-entity environment
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders and procure-to-pay processes
- Exposure to an ERP implementation, such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or a similar platform
- Advanced Excel skills
- confidence working with BI tools
- A confident communicator who can build strong relationships and challenge senior stakeholders
- The ability to create structure and improve processes in a fast-moving, evolving business
- A practical, accountable and collaborative approach to getting results
