Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on building and manufacturing equipment, directing private contractors when applicable. Operate lathe and milling machines, review drawings for parts fabrication, and ensure operator procedures are followed. Maintain work areas, manage spare parts inventory via CMMS, and record all work in the system. Communicate repair and project schedules with the Maintenance Lead and Director of Facilities Engineering to meet production priorities. Lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment. Contribute ideas to improve production methods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited trade school
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an electrical trade or mechanical trade
- PLC experience
- Fluent in English
- Ability to use standard machine shop equipment: mill, lathe, etc.
- Ability to install electrical equipment as mandated by the NEC
- Knowledge of the NEC
- Must be a good communicator
- Must work well with others
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Knowledge of 480 power distribution
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25-50 lbs
