Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for highly skilled maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, machinery, carpentry, and life-support systems at the Georgia Aquarium facilities. Requires reading drawings, maintaining maintenance records, and supporting a preventative maintenance program. Must be able to design, fabricate, install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing and pumping systems; balance and monitor large HVAC systems; work with electrical systems; fabricate structures from wood, FRP, glass, acrylic, and related materials. Requires OSHA safety knowledge, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective verbal and written communication, teamwork, initiative, and reliable productivity. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least 4 years of facility maintenance experience.
