Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fluid systems in a manufacturing plant. Support production with equipment changeovers, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution. Instruct staff on equipment operation, manage inventory, and assist with new equipment installation and commissioning. Keep detailed records, collaborate across teams, and ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP, and LOTO practices. Provide guidance to mechanics under management direction while maintaining cost-effective strategies to minimize downtime. Requires a high school diploma, five years of manufacturing experience, PLC knowledge, and a boiler engineer license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Experience with powder and liquid filling systems
- Experience with utilities (Boilers, Air Compressors, Water Chillers, AC)
- Knowledge in PLC
- Must have or be able to obtain a boiler engineer license
- Familiarity with boiler operation
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Compliance with safety gear use
