Senior Maintenance Technician, Packaging - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated inspection packaging equipment including densters, labelers, conveyors, and robotic systems. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects while supporting equipment startups, changeovers, and line optimization efforts. Develop and perform preventative maintenance procedures to reduce downtime, review component failures for reliability recommendations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Complete work orders timely with accurate documentation and assist in installing new automated packaging systems. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues. Works 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7:30am) with potential weekend overtime during campaign seasons. Requires 5+ years industrial maintenance experience and ability to read schematics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent) in a multi craft environment
- Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for over 4 hours per day
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds overhead
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment and hand tools
- Must be available for pre-scheduled required weekend OT shifts during campaign seasons
- Must be available for overtime work, including nights and weekends
- Must be able to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Must have strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, drives, and control systems
- Must have effective communication skills
- Must have computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: D365, BPLM, Veeva, Trackwise, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Associates degree
- Experience with automated inspection and packaging equipment
