Job Summary
Perform routine preventative maintenance including greasing bearings, changing belts, oil changes, and equipment inspections to maximize machine cycle times. Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems using tools like multimeters and tachometers while complying with LOTO protocols. Install, repair, and dismantle machinery to OEM standards, logging all work and managing critical material needs in the CMMS. Manage outside vendor relationships for large-scale projects such as lighting repairs and facility upgrades. Complete end-of-shift reports and coordinate downtime schedules with production departments.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in related field or Technical Certificate or equivalent experience
- 8+ Years experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Able to read and interpret directions and order details
- Able to communicate both in writing and verbally
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and electric schemes
- Basic knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and pneumatics
- Experience with tools and machinery
- Must pass pre-employment physical
- Must be able to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand 80% - 85% of the day
- Must be able to sit 25% of the day
- Must be able to twist/bend 75% of the day
- Must be able to squat/climb/crawl 25% of the day
- Able to work on heights, climb several flights of stairs (over 5 stories) daily if required
- Occasional travel as required
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish Speaking a plus
- Basic IT Knowledge of IP Addresses and Routers highly desirable
