Job Summary
Visually inspect and test machinery, equipment, physical structures, and utility systems. Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions, diagnose problems, and discuss operation variations with supervisors. Dismantle defective units to install new or repaired parts, and clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other components. Work Monday through Friday with extended hours possible based on demand. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of experience.
