Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for the safe maintenance, repair and efficiency of operation of all equipment and areas of responsibility at FMC Ice Sports facilities. Supervises maintenance technicians, coordinates efforts to ensure personnel perform daily maintenance tasks safely and effectively, performs PMs and project work/repairs, and supports maximum production quality and efficiency. Work schedule may include a condensed work week and on-call rotation. Travel to all FMC locations required; company vehicle provided. Ensures adherence to safety and operating procedures, maintains service reports and event logs, and oversees parts inventories. Requires managing maintenance activities, prioritizing tasks, and communicating with arena operations staff to ensure smooth operations. Maintains a safe, healthy and comfortable work environment and completes paperwork related to work orders, PMs, and locations. Full-time position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and earned time; compensation $30-$40 per hour, contingent on passing background checks.
Required Qualifications
- HS degree or GED
- 3 years of experience in a facilities maintenance position, including all aspects of carpentry, HVAC, painting, plumbing and minor electrical.
- Prior work experience operating lift equipment and moving heavy equipment, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Must be available to be contacted by maintenance personnel and reasonably available to report to work in cases of emergency.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Must consent to a CORI/SORI and background check.
