Job Summary
Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. Maintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the property. Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally, and supervise outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor. Schedule and document preventative maintenance, conduct regular inspections of common areas, and coordinate move-ins and move-outs. Assist with safety meetings, report potential liabilities, and maintain inventory of materials and supplies. Participate in resident functions and assist with posting notices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license
- Valid driver's license
- 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- General computer skills including operating a mobile device
- Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification
- Experience in supervising contractors
