Job Summary
Diagnose faults and conduct repairs on 5-axis CNC machines, performing geometry adjustments to maintain production accuracy. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions while responding to emergency maintenance needs to minimize downtime. Validate and test new equipment, accurately document all activities and variances in compliance with SOP, FDA, and ISO standards. Implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures and serve as a resource for less experienced technicians. Work flexible hours including 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education required
- More than 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Demonstrated experience working with analog and digital instrumentation
- Ability to read schematics including electrical diagrams, pneumatic diagrams and hydraulic diagrams
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system problems
- Ability to diagnose faulty sensors, relays, motor starters, breakers, etc. and replace when needed
- Ability able to initiate a plan of action and make decisions independently
- Ability to complete work with a limited degree of supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime in response to business needs
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, spoken)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Desired Qualifications
- College or trade school degree in engineering mechanics or electronics, preferred
- Knowledge of CNC equipment controlled by FANUC, Heidenhain and Siemen's controls is a plus
- Working knowledge of standard maintenance tracking software (Falcony)
- Team player and reliable
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC is a plus
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment a plus
