Job Summary
Diagnose and repair advanced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues while overseeing preventative maintenance programs for building systems. Mentor junior technicians, lead daily maintenance operations, and act as the Service Manager's lead during absences. Address unsafe conditions, manage tool and spare part inventory, and monitor security systems including cameras and automatic doors. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to property and resident emergencies, documenting all work and reporting recurring issues. Provide high-quality customer service to residents and ensure the property remains safe and functional.
Required Qualifications
- Universal EPA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 – 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or multi‐family housing
- Advanced skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building systems
- Ability to safely use tools, lift heavy items, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to participate in on‐call and emergency response schedules
