Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems. Performs electrical repairs (wiring, fuses, fixtures, sockets), plumbing repairs (water heaters, drainlines, pipes, faucets), carpentry (cabinetry, doors, trim), and mechanical repairs on major appliances and HVAC. Completes facility work orders, assists with exterior/interior maintenance, inventories materials, performs after-hours emergency work orders, assists with snow/ice removal, and supports safety protocols. Requires strong technical training or hands-on experience, ability to lift at least 80 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; preferred certifications include forklift and HVAC, with appliance repair experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
- Valid driver's license and GOOD driving record (MVR is reviewed)
- Technical training or extensive hands-on experience
- Ability to carry out other tasks, perform physical labor, operate tools and machinery, and lift at least 80 lbs.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) proficiency
- Forklift Certification (preferred)
- HVAC Certification (preferred)
- Appliance repair experience a plus
