Senior Maintenance Technician- 10 West

Senior Maintenance Technician at 10 West Apartments in Long Beach, NY, is responsible for maintaining the community’s physical integrity and ensuring a safe, secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role involves addressing resident service and maintenance requests, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and office staff, performing preventive maintenance, making-ready units, inspecting vacancies for cleanliness, and keeping records of maintenance activities. The technician must have hands-on experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and related systems, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., travel to vendor locations for parts, and adhere to OSHA guidelines. The position requires CPO certification and EPA certification, with CAMT preferred and willingness to obtain CAMT if requested. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a commitment to safety and customer service are essential. Work hours are 40+ per week, with evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.
