Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations of luxury, high-rise residential rental properties in the Newport/Waterfront area of Jersey City. Responsibilities include handling resident inquiries and repair requests, managing and responding to work orders in HappyCo, overseeing unit turns, budgeting and purchase orders, supervising doormen/handymen/porters, leading performance management, vendor management, ensuring building systems (boilers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) are maintained and compliant, identifying repair needs, coordinating third-party contractors, maintaining luxury standards, and managing service contracts. Requires leadership experience, strong technical skills in building operations, and customer service excellence; bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Background check and physical requirements apply.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience managing large, high-rise residential buildings or complexes
- Experience managing and leading a team, including supervision, mentoring, and performance management
- Strong technical skills in building operations, including boilers, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and carpentry
- Familiarity with fire suppression and fire alarm systems is essential
