Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Specialist (Rotational) overseeing maintenance for Petropiar Upstream Operations, collaborating with Reliability, Supervisors/Operators, and Production/Plant superintendents to execute wells recovery plans and ensure safe, reliable, and cost-efficient maintenance. Responsible for driving maintenance strategy to recover reliability and capacity of systems, managing materials/services/logistics for COB Capacity recovery, and leading Plant Reliability improvements using methods such as RCA, FMEA, RAM modeling, and LCCA. Monitors budgets and expenses, tracks competitive ideas, identifies asset integrity issues, and provides technical support to gas compression teams for Major Maintenance (Compressor Overhauling). Emphasizes process safety, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance mechanical availability of rotative equipment through PM optimization, spares management, and predictive maintenance. Mentors and develops maintenance personnel and supports cross-functional projects with Optimization, Production, Operations, and Projects. Fluency in English required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related careers
- At least 15 years of experience in oil & gas industry
- Wide knowledge of Reliability, Process Safety, MOC, maintenance work order management, P&ID and Engineering drawings
- Role model Chevron Way and behaviors critical to achieving an incident and injury free work environment
- Knowledge of Base Business Processes (SERIP-FIRM, IPSO and SFO)
- Highly proficient in English
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
