Job Summary
Review, prioritize, and validate maintenance requests based on safety, compliance, and production impact. Develop approved requests into ready-to-schedule work orders with complete job scopes and safety requirements. Partner with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Scheduling, and Materials Management to build executable plans that minimize downtime. Create and maintain accurate planning master data in SAP to support compliant maintenance plans and task lists. Support plant shutdowns, changeovers, projects, and planned maintenance by ensuring prerequisites are met before work release. Use metrics and data analysis to improve planning efficiency and overall maintenance performance. Serve as a subject matter expert leading continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring team members, and providing support for investigations and cross-functional projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant maintenance planning experience
- Five to ten years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance, reliability, or technical operations within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or industrial environment
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning best practices
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance
- Strong knowledge of GMP-regulated environments
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and equipment information to develop comprehensive maintenance work plans
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience driving continuous improvement
- Experience mentoring and guiding others
