Senior Maintenance

Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and visually inspect equipment. Identify and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts. Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts. Demonstrate knowledge of building systems, emergency response, and building documentation including reading blueprints and electrical schematics for plumbing and HVAC. Exhibit journeyman-level expertise across multiple areas (air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry/finish, mechanical, building management, pneumatic/electronic controls, energy conservation) with advanced tool safety and capability to perform highly complex repairs with minimal supervision. Perform routine property inspections, diagnose safety hazards, and take corrective action. Train and mentor engineers and supervise work in the absence of management. Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds. Follow all safety, security policies, and ensure professional guest service. Maintain physical stamina to move/lift moderately heavy objects and work on multiple levels of a hotel property.
