Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Coordinator responsible for managing 100+ active work orders across multiple markets, coordinating with internal technicians and vendors, reviewing estimates for accuracy and scope, and balancing cost, speed, and quality to deliver excellent repair outcomes. Partners with in-house technicians, monitors vendor performance, and drives continuous process improvements through data analysis and SOP enhancements. Requires extensive SFR maintenance experience, strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, and proficiency with maintenance software. This is a fully remote, 100% work-from-home role with a Monday–Friday schedule (on-call weekends for emergency maintenance) and a starting hourly pay range of $10–$12 with potential for growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in property maintenance or SFR operations (vendor management, work order coordination, estimate review)
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads (100+ open work orders) with accuracy and urgency
- Strong understanding of residential systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance) and repair processes
- Proven success in balancing speed, quality, and cost to deliver excellent results
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in property management or maintenance software (e.g., Property Meld, AppFolio, Buildium, Service Fusion, etc.)
- Comfort with data, reporting tools, and technology for tracking performance and prioritization
