Senior Mainframe System Programmer

Provide technical direction and subject matter expertise to ensure stable, reliable mainframe environments for complex sharing initiatives while adhering to established controls and standards. Collaborate with senior management to analyze business dynamics, mitigate risks, and recommend solutions for complex initiatives involving key dependencies. Lead technical efforts to review client software, install and customize ISV tools in multi-system z/OS environments, and maintain hardware and software currency to avoid end-of-support costs. Document problem analysis, resolution, and prevention procedures using IBM and ISV online tools, while actively participating in disaster recovery exercises to ensure system readiness. Manage client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet service expectations and influence teams to adopt secure, operationally resilient solutions.
