Senior Mainframe Support Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct deep-level troubleshooting, participate in Root Cause Analysis, and manage problem lifecycles to minimize unplanned downtime in customer production environments. Implement and plan changes while maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring compliance with ITIL standards. Provide technical consultation, training, and lead workshops to maintain customer knowledge and update technical documentation. Work closely with the Team Technology Lead, Account Support Team, and other support teams to deliver operational services on time and on target. Perform mandatory training requirements and participate in quality and productivity projects. Requires CICS expertise, minimum 5+ years of Mainframe knowledge, and fluent English. Hybrid role in Bucharest, Romania.
Required Qualifications
- Primary requirement - CICS expertise
- Minimum of 5+ years hands-on Mainframe knowledge
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems
- Excellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes
- Fluent in English language

- Preferably 10+ years experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support
