Job Summary
Conduct moderately complex tests, set-ups, and product/process development while creating, updating, and interpreting engineering models, drawings, and assemblies. Recommend solutions for standard problems involving software, hardware, equipment, and processes. Draft plans for testing concepts, design changes, or project milestones for engineering review. Train technicians and non-technical associates, review the work of other technicians, and serve as a resource for manufacturing and assembly operations. Present information internally and externally on a fundamental level. Utilize systems to perform duties and process changes to products and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some technical courses or on the job training in related field
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient user of moderately technical tools
- Recognized as resource in areas of expertise
- Demonstrates proficient communication, programming and troubleshooting skills
- Strong abilities in the use of moderately technical tools and lab equipment and instrumentation
- Good computer and typical office software skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to pass vision acuity test with or without reasonable accommodation
