Job Summary
Maintain production schedules and operate packaging equipment for Vitamin, Mineral, and Supplement products, including setting up Ishida scales, adjusting vibrators, and managing changeovers to ensure maximum efficiency. Troubleshoot machine defects immediately, load bagging materials, and control waste while adhering to batch records and quality standards. Perform 15-minute inspections, complete reports accurately, and follow LOTO policies for safe maintenance. Requisition materials ahead of production and ensure all finished products meet correct weight and lot number requirements. Work 12-hour C shift nights (6p-6a) with a high school diploma and one year of machine operator experience. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-year of Machine operator experience outside of SCN Bestco Inc. or 3 months working as a machine operator at SCN Bestco or a Certified Production Technician through NCMI
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs
- Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email
- Basic mathematical skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide and make fine adjustments in equipment settings
- Effective and clear written /oral communication skills fluent in English to clearly communicate with other team members
- Motivated Self-starter with the ability to work with moderate supervision
- History demonstrating good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Desired Qualifications
- More than one year of Packaging Operator experience
- Pharmaceutical industry
