Job Summary
Senior Machine Learning Engineer role focused on building and optimizing domain-adaptive agentic AI systems. Responsibilities include fine-tuning large-scale models (LLMs) with PEFT/SFT, prompt engineering to align model outputs with use-case requirements, designing end-to-end AI workflows from data collection to deployment, collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, staying current with generative AI and NLP research, and ensuring scalable, robust production deployments with clear documentation and reporting. The position emphasizes hands-on development, model deployment at scale, and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid work culture.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in machine learning and AI engineering
- Proven track record with LLMs such as Llama, Mistral, GPT, BERT, T5
- Expertise in designing, fine-tuning, and deploying generative AI models and agentic workflows
- Strong experience in prompt engineering to optimize AI model performance
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other ML frameworks
- Experience with Langgraph, CrewAI, Autogen, PhiData or similar
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deployment and scaling of models
- Experience with NLP tasks (text classification, generation, summarization, QA)
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, autonomous decision-making
- Familiarity with SDLC life cycle, data processing tools (Pandas, NumPy), and Git
