Job Summary
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Arcade, you will own the ML stack end-to-end, evaluating hosted models, fine-tuning open-source ones, and constructing scalable pipelines for image, video, and text generation. Key responsibilities include developing brand-aligned systems for tone and style fidelity, improving generation quality through internal evaluation frameworks, prototyping and shipping APIs for content generation, and collaborating cross-functionally with design and marketing teams. Required qualifications include a strong background in Python and machine learning, at least 5 years of experience in fine-tuning models, familiarity with modern ML toolkits, and a portfolio showcasing creative use of generative models.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Python + ML engineering background (PyTorch, diffusers, transformers, or similar)
- Minimum 5 years experience with hands-on experience fine-tuning or training open-source models
- Deep familiarity with modern inference and training tooling (LoRA, PEFT, DeepSpeed, Ray, Hugging Face, etc.)
- Portfolio or prior work demonstrating creative use of generative models (visuals, videos, text, etc.)
- Comfort operating across research, engineering, and product — shipping real features, not just experiments
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with TypeScript/Next.js and integrating ML APIs into frontend products
Additional Requirements
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area; occasional in-person collaboration required
