Job Summary
Optimize pricing and underwriting models to reduce infrastructure costs while maintaining accuracy for high-value assets. Lead the full ML lifecycle from feature engineering and training to production deployment on AWS, ensuring low-latency API serving and robust monitoring. Iterate on underwriting logic to maximize cash advance disbursements within strict risk thresholds and design experiments to validate new predictive features. Collaborate with domain experts to mature models from working to excellent, driving improvements in pricing coverage and freshness. Own the production infrastructure, including capacity planning, auto-scaling, and CI/CD pipelines, to scale the pricing intelligence that powers the platform's trading card market.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models
- Deep proficiency in production-grade Python and SQL
- Experience building custom feature-engineering pipelines
- Experience training and validating gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators
- Experience with MLflow or a comparable tool for experiment tracking and model registry/versioning
- Comfortable owning production model-serving infrastructure on AWS
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, orchestrating production workflows, and IaC for provisioning and modifying cloud infrastructure
