Job Summary
Senior M&E Engineer responsible for coordinating complex mechanical and electrical systems on major building and infrastructure projects. Independently manage site resource allocation, machinery deployment, and project schedules; coordinate consultant design drawings with site sub-contractors and consultants; verify M&E work and materials against contract and drawings; assist in day-to-day resource planning and machinery allocation on construction sites; organize mechanical site inspections, testing, commissioning, and authority handover steps; attend site meetings and complete technical engineering documentation and reporting. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project; Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering; 8+ years of construction-sector experience; strong written and verbal communication for technical documentation; proactive in resolving on-site coordination and design challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of related engineering experience within the construction sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and standard MS Office tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to deliver factual technical documentation
- Proactive approach to resolving technical coordination and design challenges on-site
- M&E Engineer with practical site execution and coordination backgrounds
- Experience with main contractors on multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Analytical approach to resolving design layout conflicts and optimizing engineering timelines
