Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and mentor field technicians while executing installations of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networking systems. Coordinate daily field activities, manpower, and material needs to ensure adherence to design specifications, timelines, and industry standards. Interpret blueprints and schematics, enforce safety policies, and track work logs and as-built documentation. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to manage scope, deliverables, and change orders. Full-time in-person role in Newark, NJ, with flexibility for overtime and off-hours work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Low Voltage industry
- Proven experience leading crews on commercial job sites as a Foreman or Lead Technician
- Strong expertise in low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networking
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and riser diagrams
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage field teams effectively
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced environments
- Clear communication with project managers, clients, and team members
- Ability to provide accurate field updates and reports
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing job site conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety
- Flexibility required to meet project demands, including occasional overtime and off-hours work
