Senior Low Voltage Designer

Job Summary
Develop and coordinate low voltage design supporting network infrastructure, wireless, audiovisual, security, voice, and building management technologies for office renovations, modernizations, and builds. Create construction documentation including diagrams, plans, schedules, and equipment layouts while maintaining as-built records and tracking design changes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, consistent telecommunications solutions aligned with enterprise standards. Identify risks, solve problems, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. Ensure designs adapt to evolving industry practices and future needs across large-scale campus builds and small upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or equivalent
- 10+ years designing, planning and coordinating technology rooms, structured cabling, wireless, and other low voltage systems in support of large-scale office renovations and campus builds
- Ability to develop and review construction documentation, including diagrams, plans, schedules, and equipment layouts
- Strong discipline in maintaining as-built documentation and tracking design changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Proven ability to identify risks, solve problems, and keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Experience evolving company standards, specifications, and materials lists to reflect current practices and future needs
- Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and vendors to deliver coordinated, adaptable solutions
- Experience evaluating technologies and design approaches for long-term flexibility
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and documentation
- Ability to travel within the U.S. as needed
