Job Summary
Senior Logistics Procurement Manager – Europe (M/F) leads the development and delivery of logistics sourcing strategies across Europe within Indirect Procurement. The role manages a significant logistics portfolio across transportation, warehousing, and related services, driving value, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and alignment with global category strategies; delivering end-to-end sourcing projects (tenders, negotiations, contract implementation) and acting as a procurement partner to regional logistics and supply chain stakeholders. Key responsibilities include developing European logistics sourcing strategies, delivering cost savings and value creation through market intelligence and analytics, managing strategic logistics suppliers, governance and continuous improvement, ensuring procurement compliance and KPI reporting, and supporting resilience, risk mitigation, sustainability initiatives, and logistics transformation programs. Requires a degree in a related field, 6–8 years procurement experience in logistics, strong negotiation and project management skills, and fluency in English. Hybrid work model based at Katowice HUB, Poland (FTC - maternity cover).
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- 6–8 years’ procurement experience, ideally within logistics or supply chain categories
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and sourcing projects end-to-end
- Solid commercial and analytical capability, including cost modelling, benchmarking, and reporting
- Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers and market dynamics
- Fluent in English
- Nice to have: Experience across transportation, warehousing, ocean freight, or logistics procurement
- Nice to have: Exposure to logistics transformation, network optimisation, or operating model changes
- Nice to have: Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS, NEVI, ISM)
