Job Summary
Coordinate shipments and support customers and carrier partners to ensure timely, accurate execution from order entry through delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partner carriers, prepare and provide customer rate quotes, and promptly communicate service issues to develop effective solutions. Research carrier cost discrepancies and collaborate with Accounts Payable and Billing to resolve issues. Coordinate inbound and outbound loads with ASL operations and customers, complete order entry accurately, track orders, provide updates for service visibility, and prepare reports including on-time performance. This role emphasizes problem-solving, relationship-building, and delivering reliable transportation solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in Logistics dealing with carriers, negotiating pricing; well versed in both domestic and transborder conditions of carriage; Experience with LTL, Truckload, courier, road, rail modes of transportation
