Senior Logistics & Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Manage the complete shipping process, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time. Coordinate shipment appointments and scheduling with carriers, warehouses, and customers. Monitor purchase orders and determine the appropriate next steps throughout the fulfillment process. Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or transportation issues. Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, freight carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. Review shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and shipment tracking information. Monitor delivery performance and communicate updates to internal stakeholders. Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency. Support day-to-day logistics operations while ensuring customer deadlines are consistently met. Full-time schedule, 9:00 am – 6:00pm ET, contractor role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or order management
- Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping processes
- Experience coordinating shipments, delivery schedules, and transportation providers
- Experience managing purchase orders and order fulfillment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory movement
- Experience using ERP, logistics, or transportation management systems
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Previous experience working with U.S. companies or international logistics operations
- Professional English level
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Experience working with ERP, WMS, TMS, or logistics management systems
- Strong Excel skills for operational tracking and reporting
- Ability to analyze shipping status, prioritize orders, and make operational decisions
- Strong understanding of supply chain workflows and logistics best practices
Desired Qualifications
- experience with the AMT system is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with U.S. companies or international logistics operations is preferred
- AMT experience is highly desirable
