Job Summary
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for Electron rocket components across air, ocean, and trucking modes. Schedule transportation, resolve delivery issues, and ensure compliance with ITAR and international shipping regulations while maintaining accurate documentation. Identify process improvements to optimize logistics operations and develop risk management plans for disruptions. Train logistics staff, build vendor relationships, and communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Track and analyze logistics KPIs to prepare performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience
- Exposure to international shipping regulations
- High degree of knowledge of freight forwarding and customs regulations
- International Air Transportation Association, (IATA) / International Maritime Dangerous Good (IMDG) knowledge
- Strong IT knowledge
- Comfortable working with Windows
- Experience working with a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system
- Basic understanding of necessary documentation for international shipping
- U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce

- Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
- Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant including specialized training and certifications
